your ability to practice without referral as a primary entry specialist. The ability to screen for
cancer is essentials for success as a primary entry professional. Focus is on cancer of the

CAUTIONS
Changes in bowel and bladder habit
A sore that does not heal
Unusual bleeding or discharge – stool, urine, vagina, nose, mole, scar
Thickening or lump anywhere
Indigestion or difficulty swallowing – MSK sx better or worse by eating
Obvious changes in wart or mole – any skin lesion
Nagging cough or hoarseness
Supplemental signs
-
- idiopathic muscle weakness – esp proximal with change in DTR
- pain – unrelenting, not relieved by rest, does not respond to treatment, worse at night more than 7/10, disproportionate relieve of pain with aspirin, hip or groin pain on hop or heel strike
- pathologic fx
- frequent infection – UTI, lung
- change in vital signs
- rapid unintentional wt loss
